In partnership with England Netball, Front Lawn Community Hub will introduce ‘Back to Netball’ for those looking to get back into the sport and pick up where they left off. The programme is also open to participants as an introduction to the fun and sociable sport so the option is well and truly yours.
Back to Netball has been running across England since 2010 and has over 60,000 women taking part after realising the many benefits with the programme. From losing weight, developing the body’s cardiovascular system and improving muscle tone, taking part in Back to Netball is great for you in so many ways.
Back to Netball sessions provide women of all ages with a gentle re-introduction to the sport. Run by passionate and enthusiastic coaches, sessions cover the basics of the game including passing, footwork and shooting. Sessions finish with a friendly game to put the skills you have learnt into practice.
Front Lawn Community Hub is delighted that Back to Netball will be starting at the site commencing on Tuesday 17th July 2018 and will run consecutively every Tuesday evening, from 7-8pm and delivered by CJ Brown, a qualified female Netball coach from England Netball. Sessions cost 3.00 per person and will take place at Front Lawn Community Hub, Somborne Drive, Havant, PO9 5AN.
“It is great to see the new facility taking shape, with a whole host of programmes, sessions and initiatives. We are delighted to be working closely with England Netball and hope to see the programme flourish for the benefit of the whole community”. Gary Pratt, Front Lawn Community Manager.
